RMIT’s
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
is a free and confidential counselling service available to all employees. Facilitated by Converge International, staff and their family members can access up to six counselling sessions to discuss any matters causing concern.

Parents and Carers
With onsite childcare centres at RMIT Bundoora and City campuses and paid parental leave, we support parents and carers throughout their parenting journey with flexible working arrangements, staff parenting network and opportunities to stay connected. Parental leave options are available to staff regardless of gender, gender identity, relationship status or any other personal attributes.
Indigenous support
The Ngarara Willim Centre supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to reach their potential with a range of study, living and cultural services.
Chaplaincy
RMIT's Chaplains are trained multi-faith spiritual advisers who are available to provide support to students and staff of all faiths and none. If you're struggling with life events, studies, unexpected losses and conflicts, relationships or if you just have something on your mind that you need to talk through, our team will stand ready with a listening ear, a quiet space to talk and a warm cup of tea or coffee.

MYKI Commuter Club
For daily, or frequent commuters, RMIT Commuter Club purchases 365-day myki passes at a 10% discount with the employee repaying RMIT by fortnightly (after-tax) salary deductions.
RACV Bike Assist
RACV Bike Assist is a roadside assistance program for cyclists providing up to 8 callouts a year. RACV will come to your aid if your bike can’t be ridden due to an accident, mechanical problem, puncture or even exhaustion.

RMIT Bicycle Hub
The RMIT bicycle hub is available to staff and students located at the city campus. There are various other bicycle parking locations across all RMIT campuses.
Accident Protection Insurance
The University has a Journey Personal Accident insurance which extends to all academic, professional and Vocational Education staff employed on continuing or fixed term basis.
Travel
Best Western
Best Western have offered all RMIT staff a 15% discount across the range of Best Western properties in Australia and overseas. When travelling in Australia, New Zealand or Fiji, you'll be able to make use of our discounted rates.
Quest Apartments
Quest Apartments have offered all RMIT staff discounted rates across a range of apartments and locations Australia wide.
RMIT Ski Lodge
Through RMIT Link Sport and Recreation, staff can book discounted accommodation at the Mt Buller ski lodge.
