St Mary's is thrilled to announce our 2026 School Musical:
Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.
This much-loved musical follows Ariel, a young mermaid who dreams of life beyond the ocean. Featuring dazzling musical numbers such as
Under the Sea
,
Poor Unfortunate Souls
, and
Part of Your World
, this production promises to showcase the incredible talents of our students both on stage and behind the scenes.
With four performances across three days, our College community is invited to come together and celebrate the dedication, creativity and passion of our cast and crew.

Striving Stars – After School Enrichment Program
St Mary Star of the Sea College is proud to introduce
Striving Stars
, a free after-school enrichment program designed for Year 5 and Year 6 students.
As part of our commitment to strengthening community connections, this program supports students as they prepare for the transition to secondary school through engaging, literacy-focused learning experiences.
Program Overview
Striving Stars is a structured program facilitated by Year 11 students, under the guidance of experienced teachers as part of their Community Service. The program fosters positive relationships between primary and secondary students while building confidence and a love of learning.
Sessions are interactive and hands-on, focusing on:
Reading & Comprehension
– developing fluency, understanding and critical thinking
Writing Skills
– building creative and analytical writing abilities
Confidence & Readiness
– preparing students for success in high schoo

Wollongong Educators – Ready to Elevate AI & Design Thinking in Your Classroom?
We’re excited to host a regional professional development opportunity at St Mary Star of the Sea College, Wollongong, in partnership with Inspired Education Australia.
This two-day series is designed to support teachers in confidently integrating AI and advanced design thinking practices into their classrooms.
15 June – AI in Education
16 June – STEM x Design Thinking x AI (Advanced)
This workshop series blends practical AI tools, prompt engineering, ethical frameworks and advanced design thinking strategies.
