Vypr (computer programming)
In the Upper School, the robotics team prepares students to become future innovators. Competing at regional, state and national levels, NA students have achieved remarkable success, including major North American championships. Through regular meetings, students design, build and test robots for the VEX Robotics Competition (V5 category).
Middle School students participate in the VEX IQ Robotics program, engaging in open-ended challenges that enhance their STEM skills through hands-on learning and collaborative research.
Created and produced entirely by Newark Academy students,
Wavelengths
showcases the latest in student-led research and STEM interests. The journal inspires the school community to pursue scientific curiosity and explore new ideas. View the

Through internships, Newark Academy students explore STEM fields in depth, gaining valuable experience and insights. These projects culminate in STEM Presentation Night, when students showcase their work and share their learning journeys with the broader community.
