NMUC and JTDC Launch PRO-MAHIR: Specialized Skill Development Programs for Maritime and Logistics

Johor Talent Development Council (JTDC)

PRO-MAHIR Program (Program Pembangunan Kemahiran Johor)
.
Fully sponsored by the
Johor State Government
, these intensive training sessions are designed to equip new graduates and job seekers with high-demand technical competencies
.
Eligible participants can choose from two specialized tracks aimed at enhancing employability in the regional logistics hub of Johor
Program Tracks & Schedules
1. Smart Logistics Using Internet of Things (IoT)
This track focuses on modernizing supply chains through digital transformation and real-time data
.
Dates:
4 May 2026 – 8 May 2026
Capacity:
Limited to 25 participants (Group 1)
.
Key Topics:
Practical training with IoT sensors, data analytics, green logistics, and automated inventory tracking
.
2. Shipping, Customs & Freight Forwarding Management
A comprehensive guide to navigating the complexities of international trade and regulatory compliance
.
Dates:
Group 1:
11 May 2026 – 15 May 2026
.
Group 2:
18 May 2026 – 22 May 2026
.
Capacity:
25 participants per group
.
Key Topics:
Documentation (Bill of Lading, Airway Bill), Incoterms 2020, HS Code navigation, and marine insurance
.
Program Advantages
Professional Certification:
Successful participants will receive a certificate of recognition from NMUC, an
HRD Corp Certified Training Provider
