Step Two:
Choose one of the following registration
options
that works best for you:
Option One – Select your courses and register using Student Planning
1 – Log into Ocean Connect
2- Choose the Student Planning tab
3- Plan your courses, create your schedule, register & make payment arrangements
Option Two – Meet with an Academic Advisor for additional help:
Remote appointments
by phone or Webex
In-person appointments
: New Student Registration appointments will be offered during the following hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 10:00 AM-4:00 PM
Wednesday: 12:00 PM-6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
Walk-in Advising
: New students can visit Building #9 and meet an advisor for New Student Registration
Due to limited capacity, we recommend that only students attend new student registration appointments.

What do I need to send to OCC?
Students who plan to take pre-calculus/calculus must contact their high school to request a transcript and email to
registrar@ocean.edu
to request higher-level math evaluation.
Do you have AP Scores or Credits from another institution? Send AP scores directly through College Board or send official transcripts to
registrar@ocean.edu
Do you attend a high school in Ocean County? Ask your high school counselor about an HS Pathways Registration Date

Transfer Students (Transferring to OCC – New to OCC)
Apply
to OCC
Submit Transcripts: Students transferring credits from another institution should arrange for official transcripts to be sent to the
Office of Registration & Records
for evaluation. Once transcript evaluation is completed, you will be informed which courses have been accepted for transfer towards an OCC degree.

Visiting & Non-degree Students (Not Completing an OCC Degree)
Visiting students
are students currently enrolled at another institution. These students take classes at OCC to transfer back to their home institution.
Non-Degree students
are students not pursuing a degree or certificate at OCC, but are taking classes for reasons such as completing prerequisites or personal enrichment.
