Free, accessible creative courses and residencies
Our adult skills courses offer a range of community learning designed specifically for adults looking to develop new creative skills, return to work after career gaps, or begin a new creative career. Flexible learning options led by professional artists make it easy to fit these courses and residencies into your other commitments.

Little Lost Robot
, our Community Learning courses are for you if you are:
19+ and unemployed
19+, earning under the real living wage (£23,400 per year) and/or you are over the age of 50.
We provide a gentle supportive environment that will help you to develop green, creative and digital skills, alongside building your confidence and improving wellbeing.

We work with local governing bodies and businesses committed to social change to provide the following courses free of charge.

The report recognises BSU’s innovative and impactful work across the region, noting the quality of the curriculum, rigorous evaluation and the focus on additional needs and SEN support for learners.
