, “the trusted disabled access charity working to make it easier, safer and more rewarding for disabled people and their families, friends and carers to discover accessible places.”
Sensory bags and Ear Defenders
Sensory bags can be borrowed from the Visitor Services Team at Reception. These might support younger visitors with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). They contain resources and items such as:
a selection of ‘fidget’ toys
sand timer
laser specs
stretchy toy
card to hand to reception if you’d like to utilise a quiet space in our centre
Ear defenders are also available to borrow. Please just ask a member of the team if you would like to borrow a set.
Please ask a member of staff if you would like to see the bag and borrow one. We only have a limited number of resources so if you’d like to reserve one before you visit then please email VisitorServices@catalyst.org.uk and they can put one aside for you.
