Hugh Black and Annabelle McInnes are my ancestors. Donald and Catherine died on board ship as did their little girl. The 4 boys survived and I have history of them as I am a descendant. I am interested in the parents of Hugh and Annabelle. I also would like information on Catherine Campbell who was Donald wife. They had twin girls and one of the girls died for they left Tyree. I believe a brother Colin of Donald may have stayed in Tyree. I also think his sister Janet married a McPhail
I am coming to Tyree in August and was hoping to bring some of my information as well as learning more about the relatives who have long since passed.
I am curious how the name Black came to be . I know they Maybe are a Sect of the Clan Lamont ?? Thanks
