Curriculum
The MBA program consists of 36 credits which includes 12 three-credit courses divided into two components: core courses (30 credits) and concentration courses chosen from five innovative areas of concentration (6 credits).
Core courses cover the complete range of business disciplines and serve as the general management foundation of the program (see course descriptions below).
Concentration courses provide added depth and relevance in specific areas of emphasis that connect to student career goals and professional interests (see list of concentrations below).  Students may choose to obtain more than one concentration either during or after completion of the program.
Our goal is to provide day-one value in your professional career with a real-world, practitioner-oriented curriculum, taught by faculty focused on your professional development in a student-centered environment.
Data analytics
Corporate innovation

Project management
The Data Analytics concentration will focus on developing the ability to
access, mine and extract data from information databases, enterprise data warehouses,
and other sources; to analyze, interpret, and extract meaning from raw data and
leverage applicable specialized data analytics software and other tools with a focus on
real world applications; and to translate, optimize, and present data in order to drive
optimal business decisions.
The Corporate Innovation concentration focuses on entrepreneurship within a corporate setting and managing innovation and technology in order to develop competitive advantage from a corporate perspective.
The General Management concentration provides students with the option of taking courses across different concentrations, providing a general management orientation. Students may choose two courses from any of the concentrations with the exception of BUS 672 (subject to the applicable prerequisites).
The purpose of the Health Care Management concentration is to develop health care industry leaders by enhancing health care management expertise through relevant, real-world oriented health care course content, while based in a rigorous general management focused MBA curriculum.

Not a business major in undergrad?
we've got you covered.
Wingate offers a unique one semester prerequisite course (Business 500) for non-business majors or for those who require some or all of the business prerequisites. This fast track prep course satisfies all of the prerequisites for the MBA program in only one semester and facilitates rapid entry into the program. Although Business 500 is only offered in the Fall, it is possible for students to begin the MBA Program in the preceding Spring or Summer by taking certain MBA courses that are not prerequisite-based. These students then take the applicable modules of Business 500 in the following Fall.

BUSINESS PREREQUISITES REQUIREMENTS
While a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required, it’s possible to join our program if you majored in a field other than business. If you were a business major as an undergraduate, you probably already have all of the needed prerequisites. If you don’t have an undergraduate business degree, our innovative one-semester
Business 500 course
satisfies all of the business prerequisites.
This fast-track one-semester course not only meets our MBA program’s prerequisites but expedites your entry into the MBA program. All you need to do is satisfy these required undergraduate prerequisites:
Principles of Financial Accounting
Principles of Managerial Accounting
Principles of Microeconomics
Principles of Macroeconomics
Principles of Management
Principles of Marketing
Principles of Finance
Business Statistics
Mathematics (College Algebra or Calculus)
Mastery of these required courses can be demonstrated with a final grade of “C” or better at another institution, or you can choose to take our BUS 500 course, which allows non-business majors to meet their undergraduate prerequisites within one semester.  Business 500 has four modules, so you only need to take the individual modules to satisfy the specific prerequisites you need.
If you would like us to review which of the business prerequisites you might need, please email us an unofficial undergraduate transcript and we will follow up with you to confirm.
Although BUS 500 is only offered in the Fall, it is possible for students to begin the MBA Program in the preceding Spring or Summer by taking certain MBA courses that are not prerequisite-based. These students then take the applicable modules of BUS 500 in the following Fall.
