Join us for this information session on how Student Finance works, the application process and eligibility criteria. We will explore how you can support your young person with the process, what Student Finance covers and how and when repayments are made. We will help debunk any myths and answer any questions you may have.
Applying for Student Housing - Wednesday 6 May, 5-5.30pm - Click here to join
Does the person you are supporting need to apply for accommodation? Perhaps they already have and you would like to know what happens next? Join us for a walkthrough of the whole process. We will cover how to apply, how we allocate rooms, when they can expect their offer, and what move in will look like. We will then finish with time for your questions so you feel confident and prepared.
Supporting students with Disabilities: Disabled Student Allowance (DSA), University Support and Transition - Wednesday 20 May, 5-5.30pm - Click here to join
This session will guide you through the DSA application process. We will also look at the support available from the University of Winchester and steps to support with the transition into university.

The SU also offer a range of support to students and are independent to the University

Winchester has so much to offer. As a small and vibrant city you'll find everywhere is within easy walking distance, from your day-to-day trips to the supermarket and shops to your big nights out and access to our stunning countryside.
The City is also on the Southampton to London railway line, making day trips to London (one hour), Southampton (16 minutes), and the New Forest (34 minutes) within easy reach.
