Dear TU Family,
In reflecting on my First 100 Days at William V. S. Tubman University (TU), I have been deeply moved by the power of listening as a cornerstone of effective leadership. Through countless dialogues with various stakeholders—including students, faculty, staff, board members, alumni, community members, local leaders, elected officials, and educators—I have gained invaluable insights that have shaped our strategic priorities.
These conversations have illuminated the unique strengths and qualities that define TU as a cherished institution. The enthusiasm, experiences, and interests shared during these interactions have reaffirmed our commitment to TU's mission. By actively listening to diverse perspectives, we have identified key areas for enhancement, focusing on academic excellence, student success, entrepreneurial initiatives, and the elevation of TU's brand prestige.
