The Head’s Welcome
"At Sir William Perkins's School, students are at our heart. We expect the best from them, and in return they can expect the best from us."
Ms Debbie Picton, Head
It is my pleasure to introduce you to our wonderful school; a lively and welcoming community where every student is supported to achieve great things, and where curiosity, ambition and generosity thrive.
At Sir William Perkins’s School, students are at our heart. We expect the best from them, and in return they can expect the best from us. We provide teaching of the highest quality, where each individual is stretched and challenged and given tailored support and attention.
With access to a diverse co-curricular programme, students are accomplished all-rounders with university statements studded with personal achievements and successes. Our students leave us in Year 13 with determination and clearly defined ambition, ready to make their mark on the world.
Following our 300th anniversary, we are delighted that from September, in a phased approach, boys will also be able to benefit from the educational and pastoral excellence we offer.
The students who join us in 2026 will be our Pioneers – the first boys and girls to experience a truly co‑educational SWPS. They will help set the tone for this exciting chapter, shaping our community, leadership pathways and school culture as we evolve together.
