Veterinary Programs
St. George’s University helps veterinary students gain the business skills they need to make their practices thrive with a uniquely focused DVM/MBA dual-degree program that includes an MBA in multi-sector health management.
Veterinarians must learn new skills in animal care throughout their careers while managing staff, assessing financial performance, marketing their practice, and addressing information technology needs.
An MBA in Multi-Sector Health Management is a 14-month, 34-credit program that can help improve your business skills while promoting an understanding of the complexities of operating a veterinary practice.
To earn an MBA graduate degree in tandem with the DVM degree, you’ll experience a mix of blended learning options. Our MBA courses are taught primarily online, with short residencies at our Caribbean campus in Grenada.
Entry Requirements for North American Applicants
A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or college, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
Two letters of recommendation
Entry Requirements for British Applicants
A first- or second-class degree
Two letters of recommendation
All Other Models of Education
A bachelor’s degree, BSc or equivalent with a strong science background
Two letters of recommendation
If English is not the applicant’s principal language, the official record of a score of at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based) or 100 (internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a 7.0 overall score in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
