This specialized course is designed to provide subsea engineers and ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) operation teams with crucial safety knowledge tailored to offshore environments. This training ensures that ROV teams are equipped to handle unique hazards, follow emergency protocols, and maintain regulatory compliance while operating in challenging offshore environments.

ROVs are widely used in the oil and gas, and marine sectors to accomplish tasks in underwater environments
that are often too deep or too dangerous for human divers. ROVs are nothing without their pilots. An ROV pilot technician handles the operation, maintenance, and repair of an ROV and its system.
NMUC’s ROV Pilot Technician course is a comprehensive training program designed to cultivate skillful, competent, and market-ready future ROV pilot technicians. The course is structured to blend theory with hands-on exercises, emphasizing practical training elements. It encompasses all the skills required by the industry and meets IMCA requirements.

Twenty days (20) of classroom-based theoretical, practical, and simulator training, excluding high-voltage fiber optics.

This course is specifically designed for individuals new to the ROV industry, aligning with IMCA standards.
Candidates should possess a suitable technical background, which may include relevant qualifications and/or experience.
A strong command of both spoken and written English is essential.
10 - Day Program
This course is specifically designed for individuals new to the ROV industry, aligning with IMCA standards.
Candidates should possess a suitable technical background, which may include relevant qualifications and/or experience. Technical qualifications and proficiency in electronics, electrical engineering, mechanics, or hydraulics are preferred. Graduates with SKM Level 3 in the aforementioned fields are eligible to join the training.
A strong command of both spoken and written English is essential.
20 - Day Program
The course is specifically designed for individuals new to the ROV industry and aligns with IMCA standards.
Candidates are eligible if they possess either of the following:
Relevant technical knowledge or work experience, preferably in fields such as electronics, electrical engineering, mechanics, hydraulics, or related disciplines.
A recognized qualification, such as Malaysian Skill Certificate (SKM) Level 3 or national skill certificate in a relevant technical field.
