“”Leading AI Responsibly, Communicating for the Future””
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer a concept of the future, but has become an integral part of modern life, influencing how we communicate, access information, work, and shape public opinion. The rapid evolution of AI presents not only opportunities for innovation and efficiency but also challenges in ethics, literacy, and social responsibility.
As an institution with strong expertise and a distinguished record in communication and business education, LSPR Institute of Communication and Business, through its Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Communication Technology (LSPR CAICT), recognizes the essential role of communication and business disciplines in bridging public understanding of AI.
In response to this evolving landscape, the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business, through its Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Communication Technology (LSPR CAICT), launched the LSPR Responsible AI Initiative, a long-term strategic program that integrates AI governance, ethical awareness, and applied digital communication into the heart of higher education and public engagement.
LSPR CAICT: Bridging AI and Communication for Social Impact
Established in 2024, LSPR CAICT serves as the institutional hub for fostering AI literacy, ethical AI implementation, and digital innovation within the communication and business sectors. Positioned under the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business, the center is dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research, policy advocacy, and human-centered technology applications.
LSPR CAICT operates across multiple programmatic pillars including AI curriculum integration, public discourse facilitation, cross-sector collaborations, capacity-building workshops, and community engagement. It provides a platform for students, faculty, researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and the general public to explore how AI intersects with media, marketing, journalism, corporate communication, public relations, and education.
The Center also functions as the organizer of the annual LSPR AI Festival, a national platform for promoting responsible AI through conferences, exhibitions, competitions, and policy dialogues. Through strategic partnerships and a future-focused agenda, LSPR CAICT continues to position itself as a leading force in AI for communication with conscience ensuring that technology is not only powerful but also just, inclusive, and human-centered.

Manfaat dan Ancaman Generative AI:
Menjembatani Inovasi dan Kekhawatiran Publik
LSPR Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Communication Technology (LSPR CAICT) bekerjasama dengan NoLimit Indonesia membuat sebuah “Data Report & Analysis” mengenai bagaimana AI dibicarakan di media sosial dan media daring. Laporan data & analisis ini menganalisis persepsi publik terhadap Generative AI di Indonesia, mengukur sentimen dan mengidentifikasi topik-topik utama dengan menggunakan data dari Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, dan media daring. Laporan data & analisis ini juga mengkategorikan diskusi yang terkait dengan akademisi, pemerintahan, dampak sosial, bisnis, dan media. Data dihimpun selama tiga bulan terakhir di tahun 2024 (Q4 2024) melalui pemantauan di berbagai platform media sosial (Twitter, TikTok, YouTube) dan 10 media daring teratas. Temuan menunjukkan perbedaan mencolok antara media daring yang cenderung menganggap Generative AI sebagai peluang besar sedangkan media sosial yang masih diwarnai kekhawatiran tentang privasi, keamanan data, serta dampaknya pada industri kreatif. Sebagai lembaga yang fokus pada riset dan inovasi di bidang komunikasi dan bisnis, LSPR CAICT menyoroti tiga poin kunci: Etika & Kebijakan AI, Dampak Generative AI pada Ekonomi Kreatif, dan Pentingnya Literasi & Komunikasi Efektif bagi masyarakat.
