The attention of the Management of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) has been drawn to the existence of a fake and unauthorized Facebook account impersonating the Chief Medical Director, Prof. (Mrs.) Idia Nibokun Ize-Iyamu.
We wish to categorically state that this account is fraudulent and does not represent the person, office, or views of the Chief Medical Director in any capacity.
Members of the public are hereby advised to disregard any information, messages, requests, or engagements from such fake account(s), as they are the handiwork of impostors seeking to mislead unsuspecting individuals.
For the avoidance of doubt, Prof. (Mrs.) Idia Nibokun Ize-Iyamu’s authorized official Facebook page is on the link below:

All official information from the Office of the Chief Medical Director is disseminated strictly through the authorized communication channels of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, including the Public Relations and Information Unit.
The general public is further urged to report any suspicious account(s) to the appropriate authorities.
UBTH Management remains committed to transparency, integrity, and safeguarding the public from misinformation.
