The Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards is an annual celebration of local independent businesses and organisations.
The awards are free to enter and gives businesses of all types and sizes the opportunity to gain publicity and recognition.
The winners of the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards were revealed at a prestigious ceremony on Friday 13 March at Woolwich Works.
Over 400 local entrepreneurs, investors and stakeholders attended the event, to celebrate the 16 category winners and the overall Business of the Year.
The University of Greenwich also sponsored the Outstanding Young Innovator Award. The award was given to RISE Coaching & Mentoring, led by Trevor Gomes.
As well as her role at the Executive Business Centre, Dr Hetty (Wenxian) Sun is also an academic entrepreneur innovating her portfolio by integrating real-life projects to promote SMEs and make useful contributions to society.
Dr Sun said of the awards:
"The judges were looking for entries that gave us a clear sense of the business itself – of how it functions, what drives it, and the contribution and impact made to the local and wider community.
“I was delighted to be a part of the awards for the second year in a row.
“Congratulations to all the nominees and the winners this year. The judges were incredibly impressed by the excellent work that happens in the borough and certainly had a tough time choosing winners”.
