Center for Research in Climate
Change and Global Warming (CRCC) was established in fall 2012 in order to
coordinate the
activities of researchers at the IASBS.
Department of Chemistry
High level researches and
publication in addition
to international collaborations, made the department as one of the most
successful Chemistry Departments in Iran.
Department of Computer Science and Information
Technology
Department of CS & IT focuses on novel,
fundamental and applied
academic topics of world quality which have both local and global
applications.
Department of Earth Sciences
Currently we are active in the
fields of geophysics, tectonics, Petrology, Hydrology and Hydrogeology as
one of the youngest departments of IASBS.
Language Teaching and Research Section
The Language Teaching and Research Section is the organizer of exclusive
programs to
improve the English proficiency of the students and staff at IASBS.
Department of Mathematics
The Department
of Mathematics offers higher education programs and its
active research fields are algebra,
analysis, geometry, graph theory, CS and Financial
Mathematics.

This university has, in addition to its many attributes, been prominent in research, widespread
international relations, having beautiful surroundings, respecting people, and creating
opportunities for new ideas. IASBS has already taken long steps in this regard. Now, I hope,
“together” we will be able to take longer strides to achieve “pedagogical excellence” and serve our
“immediate community” and the whole nation in a “more tangible” manner while establishing wider and
