Coffee Regional Named a “Top Small Hospital” in Georgia
Quality comes first at CRMC, where our mission is to provide the most advanced healthcare in a safe and caring environment. Georgia Trend Magazine named CRMC as one of three Top Small Hospitals in Georgia in 2015. Rankings were based primarily on patient satisfaction and quality of care, showcasing the difference that CRMC caregivers make in the lives of our patients and families.
CRMC is also recognized among top hospitals in the nation based on our patient experiences, clinical care and outcomes. The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of healthcare organizations in America, named CRMC as one of the nation’s Top Performers on Key Quality Measures. For four consecutive years CRMC was recognized for exemplary performance using evidence-based clinical processes that are shown to improve care for certain conditions including heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care and immunizations.

In addition, in 2015, The Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) and the Partnership for Health and Accountability (PHA) presented the prestigious Quality and Patient Safety Award to CRMC for achievement in reducing the risk of medical errors and improving patient safety and medical outcomes. The CRMC project, titled “Electronic Medication Reconciliation Improvement Process,” tied for third place in the category of hospitals with less than 100 beds.
CRMC received the 2015 Outstanding Patient Experience award by Healthgrades®, the leading online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals. This recognition is based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient survey data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
