Register your business

Complete your SAM.gov and eOffer registrations
Before you can compete for contracts with the government, you need to
register your business and obtain a unique entity identifier, or UEI, on SAM.gov

for detailed instructions.
Register for
eOffer
, which you’ll use to submit your offer and accept modifications. You’ll get a FAS ID as part of the registration process. To get a FAS ID, you need to make sure you are listed in SAM as a government business POC, electronic business POC, past performance POC, or alternates of them. Use the

if you need to.
Collect required information
Have the following information ready to complete your registration:
Taxpayer Identification Number
Any already assigned Contractor and Government Entity code(s) or NATO Commercial and Government Entity code(s)
Financial and banking information to set up electronic funds transfer
The
North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code(s)
that best depict your primary business activity(s)
Allow
up to 10 business days
after you submit your registration for it to become active.
At any time after submitting your registration, you can sign in and
check the status of your business on SAM.gov
.

Additional terms and conditions
Traveler reimbursement is based on the location of the work activities and not the accommodations,
unless lodging is not available at the work activity, then the agency may authorize the rate where
lodging is obtained.
Unless otherwise specified, the per diem locality is defined as
"all locations within, or entirely
surrounded by, the corporate limits of the key city, including independent entities located within
those boundaries."
Per diem localities with county definitions shall include
"all locations within, or entirely
surrounded by, the corporate limits of the key city as well as the boundaries of the listed counties,
including independent entities located within the boundaries of the key city and the listed counties
(unless otherwise listed separately)."
When a military installation or Government - related facility(whether or not specifically named) is
located partially within more than one city or county boundary, the applicable per diem rate for the
entire installation or facility is the higher of the rates which apply to the cities and / or counties,
even though part(s) of such activities may be located outside the defined per diem locality.
