The Faculty of Law, Crime and Justice brings together the related subject areas of Law, Policing, Criminology and Forensics, allowing for an interdisciplinary approach
The Faculty focusses on the teaching, research and knowledge exchange opportunities within these dynamic subject areas, which provide the framework and the understanding for modern society.
With a global staff and student body, the Faculty provides an industry-ready experience, giving the opportunity to engage with the professional community through real-life case work, project-based modules and volunteering.
We have a range of specialist facilities to service our subject areas, including moot courts for Law and extensive forensics and criminology facilities including teaching, research and linguistics laboratories, a dedicated crime scene house and a DEFRA–licensed taphonomic facility for carrying out decomposition research.
