Guns and Whiskey: Browning and Winchester: Firearms of the American West

Lecture by Danny Michael and whiskey tasting featuring spirits from Texas Tail Distillery
The curator of the Cody Firearms Museum at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming, Danny Michael, will share his expert knowledge about guns found in The Bryan Museum Collection, including two pieces found in the “From the Vault” special exhibit. Sip a whiskey flight while learning about several important guns of the West such as an extremely rare 1853 J.M. Browning Harmonica Rifle and a beautiful 1908 David Wade Harris Engraved Colt Frontier Six Shooter Single Action Revolver. The latter features coverage of famous Texas cattle brands appearing on the cylinder, barrel and grip strap intermingled with foliate scroll and stippling.
