125 th Anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of Compassion
Our Lady’s Home of Compassion in Island Bay saw hundreds of whānau and friends come together for a day of celebration last Saturday 14 October 2021.
History of Our Lady's Home of Compassion
In 1907, following a huge fundraising effort, the impressive Our Lady’s Home of Compassion was opened on the slopes of Island Bay, initially for the care of children and babies.
Cloister Café
Cloister Cafe is open Tuesday to Friday, from 10 am until 3 pm, and Saturdays from 9:30 am until 2:30 pm
