We support each pupil to be ambitious, curious about the options open to her and to know herself. Pupils learn and develop skills essential to success in careers ahead, from leadership to entrepreneurship, and from being in a team to being creative and innovative. Starting from Year 7 upwards, our Futures Programme helps each child plan and shape the future that is right for her, from making sure she takes the right subjects at GCSE and A Level, to learning about AI and being digitally agile. futures programme University destinations Most of our Upper Sixth gain places at top universities in the UK or overseas. Calne pupils are ambitious and we support them to apply to the university, art school, conservatoire or other higher education institution of their choice. Popular UK universities with pupils include Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter and Bristol, with an increasing number considering university overseas, often to the USA. Additional specialist support is provided to Sixth Form pupils applying to Oxbridge for medicine, dentistry and veterinary science, with a very high success rate every year.
