A NEW DEAL COMMUNITY
ELEANOR'S LITTLE VILLAGE
Arthurdale was the nation’s first New Deal Community and a passion project of First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. Often called “Eleanor’s Little Village," she visited here 33 times and was intimately involved with the community. Arthurdale Heritage was formed in 1985 to preserve the legacy of this important community.

Wednesdays in April & May
Spring Yoga Series
Spring Yoga Series at Arthurdale Heritage (April-May) Join us this spring for a weekly yoga practice designed to help you reconnect, recharge, and build strength from within. Classes take place every Wednesday at 6 PM in Center Hall, beginning April 1st. This vinyasa-style series offers a supportive and welcoming space for all levels.

Recipe Exchange & Potluck: Ramps – plus a Spring Clothing Swap!
Join us for seasonal recipe exchange potlucks! Everyone is encouraged to bring a dish and recipe to share with each other. Family recipes or Arthurdale Cookbook recipes are great places to start but any dish/recipe is more than welcome. Attendees will have the chance to tell the story behind their chosen dish.

Community Mornings
Join us
every Wednesday from 9am to 11am
in historic Center Hall. We believe it is important for folks to have a place they can gather outside of their home and workplace. Community Mornings in Center Hall is a free, community-driven space for discussions, activities, and--most importantly--making connections with people. Puzzles, games, and fresh tea and coffee provided!
