The Department of Physical Education was established in year 2022. At present the Department offers B.P.E.d course and plans to offer M. P. E.d course and PhD programme in near future.
Mission
The department works to create academic programmes in physical education that are student-centered and well-designed by creating  curriculum and academic culture that are appropriate for the twenty-first century based on grand and emerging theories of Phy. Edu. & innovative pedagogy and andragogy.
Vision
To develop into a Centre of excellence for training physical education educators, entrepreneurs, and researchers for the twenty-first century, where students can explore their academic and professional interests with a variety of skills in the fields of physical education, fitness, and sports.
Best Practices
Classroom Teaching, Practical Work (on field and in Human Performance Lab) and other physical and sports activities.
