Meet Our Leaders
Rev. Tiff Shuttlesworth
President
(978) 478-3403
As a 17 year-old student in the prayer room of Zion Gospel Temple, Tiff Shuttlesworth received a clear and dramatic calling to evangelism and world missions. He has often stated and wrote these words down after that supernatural encounter with God, “In dependence upon God my goal is to lead one million people to the Lord Jesus Christ.”
For forty-four years Rev. Tiff Shuttlesworth has remained focused upon that life calling. He has held evangelistic crusades in over sixty countries of the world, many of them third world. Through the ministry he founded, Lost Lamb Association, over sixty churches have been planted internationally. He has passed the torch and raised up four associate evangelists, all of whom are graduates of Zion/Northpoint. In 1994, President Shuttlesworth was inducted into “Billy Graham’s Notable Names in Evangelism.”
President Shuttlesworth has served on Northpoint’s Board of Trustees for thirty years. He was elected as Chairman of the Board at the conclusion of the spring 2019 Trustee meeting and served as such until transitioning in the fall of 2022 to interim president. In March of 2023, at the Board of Trustees meeting, he was unanimously elected as our ninth and current president.
President Tiff Shuttlesworth fervently believes that God has given him the privilege to serve our beloved institution and build upon our sacred vision. His passion for eschatology and his conviction of the soon coming of Christ carry the urgency of the hour in which we live. At a recent chapel service he said, “Reaching the lost and fulfilling the Great Commission are a limited opportunity because we believe in the soon coming of Christ. We must carry out the tasks that are assigned to us, for night cometh when no man can work.”
