1. Ethical Principles and Professional Standards: Each student will be able to apply
ethical principles and professional standards of electrical engineering and computer
science to analyze situations and make informed and appropriate technical and leadership
decisions.
2. Effective Communication: Each student will be able to communicate qualitative and
quantitative concepts clearly, concisely, and professionally to both technical and
non-technical audiences both orally and in writing.
3. Technical Mastery: Each student will demonstrate advanced knowledge of the technical
elements of electrical engineering and computer science, as evidenced by the ability
to critically analyze current research literature, an understanding of industry best
practices, and an ability to apply current techniques and/or methodologies.
4. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Each student will be able to integrate a
broad knowledge base of advanced concepts in electrical engineering and computer science
to solve practical, impactful engineering problems as well as synthesize new scientific
knowledge.
