On May 29th, you're invited to join Mayor Roberto L. Alves and the Danbury Museum & Historical Society to celebrate 250 years of America. Enjoy an elegant evening in community while reflecting on Danbury's history.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Danbury Museum & Historical Society and the CT Education Foundation. Funds raised by the CT Education Foundation at the 2026 Danbury Mayor's Ball will support the Danbury Police Cadets and start-up funds for the Danbury Fire Explorers.
This event is black tie.
Danbury Museum & Historical Society
The mission of the Danbury Museum & Historical Society Authority is to acquire, preserve, exhibit, and interpret the heritage and history of Danbury for the purpose of education, information, and research.
CT Education Foundation
The CT Education Foundation is dedicated to fostering educational equity and opportunity for all. Our mission is to support and champion educational initiatives within underserved communities, ensuring that every student has access to the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive academically and personally. Through strategic partnerships, advocacy, and innovative programming, we strive to create a future where every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances.
