TISC@DEF CON SG Qualifiers
27 - 29 Mar 2026
Finals on 29 Apr at DEF CON SG
Overview
TISC@DEF CON Singapore is a special edition of the annual Capture the Flag (CTF) competition organised by CSIT, designed to uncover the best Singaporean CTF talents at the inaugural DEF CON SG. It provides opportunities for Singaporeans to put their cybersecurity and programming skills to the test by solving challenging puzzles against the clock.
TISC@DEF CON SG is an individual competition. Participants are required to complete a variety of challenges across domains including, but not limited to Forensics, IoT, Pwn, Reverse Engineering and Web.
Phantom In The Code
The digital realm went silent. Too silent.
Every scan read clean. No threats, no warnings. Except one stray finding.
Buried deep in a research log, it looked harmless. A loose thread. An anomaly easy to ignore. But something underneath stirred, like a script rewriting itself.
We widened the scan, and the truth surfaced: anomalies that broke every rule, irregularities that was unpredictable and it was branching fast.
Containment has failed. Its source is unknown. Its form volatile. And it knows it’s been seen.
Now the best minds are wanted: Trace the signal, map the spread, and hunt the breach.
Participation
TISC@DEF CON SG is open to Singapore citizens only.
CSIT employees and seconded staff to/from CSIT as of 1 Mar 2026 or later are not eligible to participate.
