Earth Day just got bigger at SGU. 🌍♻️
We’re proud to launch our brand new campus recycling program starting today, April 22. To begin, we’re collecting plastic bottles only, so keep it simple: Empty it. Crush it. Toss it. 💚
We’ve installed 20 recycling bins and 60+ water refill stations across campus, making it easier than ever to choose reusable bottles.
Together, we can build a cleaner campus and a greener Grenada. 🇬🇩♻️

For Helssy Almanzar Pichardo, the path to veterinary medicine started early. Before she could speak, she was already mimicking animals. 🐾
Originally from the Dominican Republic and raised in Upstate New York, she has always felt called to care for animals and make a wider impact.
Now a Term 1 School of Veterinary Medicine student, she chose SGU for the opportunity to study in the Caribbean and hopes to one day become an ER veterinarian, and is excited about the @sgu_sveccs and @sgusvmsurgeryclub on campus.
