Newark Academy Hosts New Tradition: The Senior Bonfire

Newark Academy's Office of Alumni Relations began a brand new tradition for the senior class this year — the Senior Bonfire. The Class of 2026 were the first members to enjoy a catered Chipotle dinner together and then bond as a class around a bonfire, singing songs and playing games together. The Senior Bonfire concluded Spirit Week and hyped up the senior class for the following day's Homecoming festivities.
"NA traditions are deeply cherished by our alumni, lasting a lifetime," says Evan Nisenson '99, Director of Alumni Relations and Giving. "Being part of a new tradition like the Senior Bonfire is truly special, and I can't think of a better tradition that embodies our Ad Lumen motto."
