Expert Help With Everyday Activities
Nemours Children's pediatric occupational therapists help children who have trouble with everyday activities due to injury, development problems or illness. We help build strength to perform tasks and skills to learn, think and process information better.
Our team evaluates your child using the latest tools and methods. We tailor our therapies to your child’s needs and goals. We can improve fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, muscle training and sensory processing. We use real-life settings to help with dressing, bathing, eating and more.
We work as a team with other rehabilitation therapists and your child’s doctors. In addition to individual and group sessions, we help with assistive devices, school services and how to support your child at home.
Our therapists have expertise working with children of all ages and abilities, from newborns to teens. Because we only care for kids, we know how to make therapy fun and rewarding. Our goal is to help kids gain the confidence and freedom to live their best possible lives.
