At Rolling Hills Prep, our performing arts program nurtures students' creative talents in a supportive environment where exploration and skill-building go hand in hand. From middle school introductions to advanced high school productions, students discover their artistic voices while developing confidence, collaboration skills, and creative thinking.
Theater Program
Our theater program guides students through a progressive journey of theatrical experiences, from improvisation games to full-scale productions directed by accomplished theater professionals.
Middle School Theater
Students explore improvisation, story dramatization, and performance techniques
Showcase opportunities through seasonal performances and special events
8th grade milestone performance allows students to participate either on stage or behind the scenes
Upper School Theater
Sequential courses develop acting, directing, playwriting, and production skills
Advanced students explore diverse theatrical styles and create original works
Technical theater courses provide hands-on experience with lighting, sound, and stage management
Evening performances showcase student growth throughout the year
Music Program
Our music curriculum balances theory with performance, allowing students to explore diverse musical traditions while developing their technical abilities.

Western music theory combined with global musical traditions
Hands-on instrumental exploration using diverse instruments
