Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Marian is ranked 2 in Kerala and 80th in India by OUTLOOK – I CARE best colleges ranking 2022. BBA at Marian provides a gateway to academic progression in Management, Accounting, Finance, and more, and a plethora of job opportunities in numerous sectors such as Sales, Marketing, Education, Finance, and Government to name a few. The department of Business Administration functioning from the inception of the college in 1995, offers a full time bachelors program with six semesters leading to the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration with E- Commerce as the optional subject. In 2021, Department added its second batch of BBA program in the self-financing stream. The program orients the participants develop an entrepreneurial mind-set and global acumen to innovate, lead and solve complex business problems within an ethical framework. In 2020, a 360-degree restructuring of the syllabus was inflicted, focusing on Business Process Services in consultation with India’s No.1 Information Technology Company Tata Consultancy Services’ (TCS) academic interface program.
At Marian, we support you in completing a business degree qualification that equips you for careers in local, national or international markets, encouraging you to go beyond an understanding of management theories and to be able to apply them confidently in Global Business Environment. Adhering to the principle of student-centered Outcome Based Education (OBE) which focuses on measuring student level of achievement, we strive to create a study environment which will encourage you to build up your cognizance of the dynamic business environment. Real world case studies, Role Plays, Simulation Games, Organizing Events, Consultancy, Constant Interface with Industry and Academic experts, and current events analyzed in seminars, the students reconnoiter the challenges of putting theory into practice. From 2021 onwards the program offers a platform to students to gain CMA along with BBA and also serves as a stepping-stone for higher career programs like MBA, CA, ACCA, ICWA, CMA, CS, MCom, and ICFA etc. At present, it has an yearly intake of 120 and faculty strength of seven.
