Founded in 1961, IHS is the first and longest-standing Indian educational institution in the Gulf. Established ten years before the founding of the United Arab Emirates, our schools embody the cultures, values, and ethos of both India and the UAE, in our learning and teaching. Our newly launched celebratory logo 60@50@2020 is a reflection of how closely we are connected with the UAE and its history.

The Indian High School and its entire staff has been a huge support and
inspiration for my daughter ever since the beginning. Be it academics or
extracurriculars they have helped her hone and polish her skills to
perfection. A special mention should go to the Model United Nations and
the Debate Club which has not only helped Priyal in becoming more
confident but also more determined and dedicated. The extra effort and
the attitude of absolute perfection could not have been more aptly
inculcated in her had it not been for the faculty's tremendous support and
love. So a big hearty thanks to the entire school for helping her in paving
the path for her success.

The Indian High School is not only an epitome of academic excellence but also a provider of
various opportunities which ingrains us with leadership, confidence, and diplomacy. As a student
of IHS, I have thoroughly enjoyed the MUN where the most heated discussions about major global
issues like the Drug Trade, Climate Change, Health Crisis, etc occurs. The World Scholars Cup is
another international event in which I intensively participated and was motivated by the school
to excel. It blends the thrill factor of games and academics to provide a great platform for
students to speak on. The World Scholars Cup blends the thrill factor of pop culture and
academics to provide a great platform for students to indulge in. The TOC was held at the Yale
University where we interacted with the Professors and Students and competed with the best
scholars. This entire experience was my most memorable one as I had not only discovered my
passion but also made a ton of friends along the journey from various countries. It
taught me to discover & respect new cultures, challenge myself, be confident, and
several other social skills.
