CEU has established a reputation as a research-intensive university through the outstanding work of its faculty members, interdisciplinary research centers, and some dozen less structured faculty/student research groups.
In line with the university’s commitment to high quality research, our faculty obtains over 10 million EUR in new research grants in every academic year with the assistance of the Academic Cooperation and Research Support Office. CEU researchers collaborate with close to 100 universities on joint research projects, most of which receive funding from the European Framework Programs and Austrian public funding agencies.
