What is the Denver Academy Parent Association?
When your child enrolls at Denver Academy, you become a member of the Denver Academy Parent Association (DAPA). Every parent is a member and there are no fees associated. DAPA helps enrich the DA community and experience.
DAPA supports DA student, teacher, and parent events.
DAPA support for teachers includes the facilitation of division parties and activities, as well as teacher appreciation events.
DAPA provides extended support for Denver Academy faculty and staff. DAPA offers a parent support group and events geared toward learning more about our unique learners.
DAPA participates and volunteers at DA sporting events and other extracurricular events including theater.
DAPA sponsors parent events that allow for networking and community building.
How Can I Get Involved?
There
are many opportunities to be involved with DAPA both during and outside of school hours.

- DAPA meets the second Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the DA Administration Building Conference Room and all DA parents are invited to attend!
Attend DAPA Social Events
- These events are intended for parents to meet other parents and to build the DA community.

DAPA Goals
List of 4 items.
Promoting Parent Community
DAPA aims to ensure an inclusive and supportive environment at Denver Academy. We sponsor activities, both social and educational, for parents to meet, exchange information, and build a sense of community. Please check the
website calendar
for upcoming events.
Enriching Student Life
We provide social and academic experiences for students in partnership with DA faculty and staff. This also includes our After Prom event that provides high school students with a safe and fun place to celebrate when Prom is over. We provide support for our teachers, facilitate division parties and activities, and host teacher appreciation events through our Mustang Connection (High School), Colts (6th Grade), Herd (Middle School), and Ponies (Elementary School) programs.
Supporting Faculty and Staff
DAPA works to show our amazing faculty and staff how much we appreciate their dedication to our kids by hosting several school-wide social events for them throughout the year.
Enhancing DAPA Funding
DAPA activities are funded as part of the school budget. This is so parents can concentrate on being partners with the faculty and staff. You can enhance the DAPA budget by participating in our grocery rewards program. It costs you nothing extra and DAPA will earn money to enhance programs and activities for our kids!
