The Rezan Has Museum continues to expand its collection of artifacts belonging to the Urartian civilization, which ruled in and around Van for approximately 250 years.With the Urartian Belts Exhibition, carefully selected belts and belt fragments from our collection of Urartian-period artifacts are being presented to art enthusiasts.As a result of meticulous conservation and restoration efforts carried out by our museum experts, many unique artifacts, such as the Wide Belt with Hunting Scene, which depicts scenes of lion and bull hunting, are featured in the exhibition.
Enriched with new insights into Urartian history, art, metal technology, and language gained through historical, archaeometric, metallurgical, and philological research conducted on the belts, our exhibition is open to visitors seven days a week.
