A Future-Oriented Perspective
Aging challenges everyone — so gerontologists serve a constantly growing population. By 2040, one in five Americans will be over age 65. In 2050, about 1.6 billion people worldwide will fall in that category.
An aging population needs products, services and solutions at a greater scale than ever before. As a result, there’s a major demand for qualified leaders in the public and private sectors. With the enormous challenges and opportunities our aging world presents, there have never been more ways to make an impact in a meaningful career.
That means gerontologists have even more ways to make an impact.
An Invitation to Make an Impact
