Introduction
As the university is enhancing its approach towards turning its innovative intellectual output into societal and economic value and impact, a new office - Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO)

has been established this academic year to offer help and support to the NU faculty community with their Innovation leads throughout the commercialization cycle.
The IPTTO enhances university–industry collaboration by establishing links between researchers and industry to commercialize inventions. Our team possesses the skills and tools to evaluate the market potential for faculty inventions, how to pursue Egypt and worldwide IP protection, and how to identify business partners that can help university inventions be commercialized. During its short life, the IPTTO team has been actively working with many of our faculty to roadmap their IP commercialization path.
