About the Department
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
The Department of Business Administration started its journey towards imparting a whole some management education in the year 1995. With an objective of motivating and fascinating budding managers, the department has been involved in developing student centric courses curriculum and industry based learning methodologies. The pedagogy of the BBA program consists of lectures, research projects, seminars, workshops and other student centric activities. In order to update the knowledge and have a practical exposure of the industry, the department organizes several industrial visits.
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Post-graduate management programme was started in 1997 and the same was recognized by AICTE and the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The main objective of the MBA programme is to bring out the professional skills of the students and to keep them fit for the professional demands of the corporate. To implement these objective a conducive atmosphere is made available all the times in the campus. We use innovative and pragmatic methodologies such as live project exposure, analytical techniques in problem solving, team coordination through group seminars, industry and technology domain training. Industry experts across various fields are invited as guests to the seminars to offer training to our students. These help students to stay well informed with the happenings around the globe and are ready to be deployed in the industry as soon as they complete the course.

Highlights
Two ongoing minor research projects under UGC.
Five faculty members awarded doctoral degree.
Two staff members registered for doctorate in the department.
Two faculty members cleared NET/SET.
Signed MoU with Pearlcity Academy for Leadership and Management Skills (PALMS), Erode Districts Small INDUSTRIES Association (EEDISSIA), The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), MYRADA for industrial connect.
Social immersion projects are offered in focus to have social perspective to the students and build their managerial skills.
College Bazaar was organized in association with the Tamilnadu Corporation of Development for Women (TNCDW) was organized every year to allow the self help groups to market their products in the college premises.
Agripreneurship ,a value added course was offered by the department of management in tie-up with Myrada KVK, Gobichettipalayam for a period of one week (5th to 10th March,2018) to create awareness about earning employability in food processing sector with low investment.
The National conference on “Winning the marketing war: Challenges & Responses” was held on 15th September, 2017. Mr.Srinivasan Ramasamy, Global Practice Head, Technosoft Corporation, Bangalore presented to be the chief guest.
Five ICSSR funded seminars organized in the department of Management.
In tie with TIE, Coimbatore chapter and EDC organized a workshop on “How to start a business online” to boost students’ business in world level.

Signed MoU with Pearlcity Academy for Leadership and Management Skills (PALMS), Erode Districts Small INDUSTRIES Association (EEDISSIA), The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), MYRADA for industrial connect.
Social immersion projects are offered in focus to have social perspective to the students and build their managerial skills.
College Bazaar was organized in association with the Tamilnadu Corporation of Development for Women (TNCDW) was organized every year to allow the self help groups to market their products in the college premises.
Agripreneurship ,a value added course was offered by the department of management in tie-up with Myrada KVK, Gobichettipalayam for a period of one week (5th to 10th March,2018) to create awareness about earning employability in food processing sector with low investment.
The National conference on “Winning the marketing war: Challenges & Responses” was held on 15th September, 2017. Mr.Srinivasan Ramasamy, Global Practice Head, Technosoft Corporation, Bangalore presented to be the chief guest.
Five ICSSR funded seminars organized in the department of Management.
In tie with TIE, Coimbatore chapter and EDC organized a workshop on “How to start a business online” to boost students’ business in world level.
