The Community Action Board (CAB) is a Citywide body that oversees community action initiatives under the federal
Community Services Block Grant (CSBG)
. The CAB is comprised of 22 residents of low-income communities, 15 elected public officials, and eight representatives from the private sector. CAB members participate in the development of program priorities and advise in the allocation of CSBG funds.
