Faculty Researchers
At Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), we are committed to fostering
a dynamic research environment. In addition to teaching, many of PCOM's faculty members
continuously work to make research advancements in understanding and treating human
health.
Our faculty's research projects span a wide range of
focus areas
, from biology and psychology to primary care and community outcomes, with the goal
of improving the practice of medicine as well as medical education. The faculty researchers
at our institution also serve as dedicated mentors, fostering the next generation
of clinicians and scientists by allowing our current medical and graduate students
to
participate in research projects
. Our researchers routinely collaborate with current students, residents, industry
experts, outside organizations and other institutions to conduct research studies
and explore the boundaries of medicine.
