Our pediatric hospitalists provide exceptional care for children up to age 18 with a wide range of pediatric diagnoses and offer seamless transitions to a higher level of care when warranted. Our pediatric hospitalist program is dedicated to the care of hospitalized children at Kootenai Health to ensure consistent pediatric-specific care around the clock.
Children at Kootenai Health will be cared for by a dedicated group of compassionate pediatric-specialized team members including:

Kootenai’s Pediatric Department consists of:
Nine private rooms
Three semi-private rooms
A designated pediatric and family friendly unit
