Welcome, Friends.
We are so excited you are part of the FSW community! We know that joining a new school involves a tremendous amount of logistical planning and that you may have questions you don't even know you should ask! Take a look at the resources listed below and know that we are just a phone call, email, or campus visit away.

Early morning drop off takes place from 7:30 to 7:50AM.
Regular morning drop off occurs 7:50 to 8:00AM. All arrivals after 8AM must park and walk their child to the front office to sign in.
The school day runs from 8:00AM to 2:45PM.
Afternoon pick up occurs 2:45 to 3:00PM.
Any student still on campus after 3:00PM will be sent to our after-school program until parent pick up.
Administrative offices are open between 8:00AM and 4:00PM on Monday–Friday when school is in session.
After-school programming and on-campus athletic practices/games typically end by 6:00PM.
Just as we aim to create an inclusive and nurturing environment for students at FSW, it is our intention that families also feel welcome in and around the school buildings and campus. For health and safety reasons, however, all school visitors, including families, must sign in at the front desk and secure a visitor's badge before proceeding to any school building or outdoor activity.
We have an extensive after-school programming which includes daily after-school care, as well as clubs and athletics teams. Previous club examples from the 2024-2025 school year included Science Olympiad, Soccer Shots, Pottery, Volleyball, Yoga, among others.
Daily after-school care is facilitated by two staff members who supervise snack, art activities, outdoor play, reading, and games. Students also have the option for quiet study time.
The FACTS Family Portal serves 3 important functions:
It houses our school's student information database so families can log in each year to complete their re-enrollment contracts.
It includes an up-to-date family database so families within and across grade levels can connect with each other quickly.
It provides a space to easily review and edit your student's emergency contacts and authorized pick-up persons.

The FACTS Tuition Portal allows you to easily access and update all student billing information, including financial aid, payment plans, banking preferences, and more.
FACTS Tuition Portal
Each grade level Lead Teacher distributes a weekly newsletter (often on Fridays) with updates, reminders, and resources for the class, as well as a look at the week ahead.
The Preschool Coordinator, Lower School Coordinators, and Middle School Director send intermittent updates pertaining to Division-wide news and announcements.
On Thursdays we publish our weekly all-school newsletter,

, which contains important announcements about school programming, community events, Head of School updates, Parent Association check-ins, classrooms highlights, and fundraising efforts.
