Transportation Transportation MSDA Direct Shuttle Service Mount St. Dominic Academy is excited to announce morning shuttle service to our Caldwell campus, beginning in Fall 2025! The route offers pickup at NJ Transit Mountain Avenue Station, Montclair & NJ Transit South Orange Station, South Orange. The cost of the shuttle service is $1800 for the school year, non-refundable and due in full upon registration. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis for enrolled students only. Shuttle service availability depends on sufficient student interest and usage. Link to Shuttle Transportation registration form: click here Reimbursement for Transportation Basic Information - Some school districts provide reimbursement for students at least 2.5 miles from MSDA Application Form for Reimbursement School Districts NOT Required to Reimburse Bus Service Student Parking Many area school districts provide transportation reimbursement for students coming to the Mount. This reimbursement is limited to students who live at least 2.5 miles, from the school. Note that the reimbursement is potentially available whether a student uses a private bus service, takes public transportation or is driven to school. The amount is determined by law. For reference, last school year, the amount was $1,000. Reimbursement will come from your local board of education, distributed in two installments. In certain circumstances, your local board of education reserves the right to provide transportation in lieu of financial reimbursement. Additionally, you may be able to contract private bus services for transportation to the Mount. Parking is permitted on campus in the MSDA assigned parking area on a first come first serve basis. A permit must be registered in the main office.
