Mental Health Charter Programme and Award We were one of the first universities to join the Student Minds University Mental Health Charter Programme and have received the Mental Health Charter Award for 2024, which recognises good practice and commitment to continuous improvement in mental health and wellbeing support. Our University Health Service allows you to register with a GP and access support without stepping away from university life. Julie Spencer MBE Head of Student Wellbeing Julie Spencer, Head of Wellbeing at the University of Lincoln, was named in the New Years’ Honours list 2024 for her services to education. She was awarded an MBE for being a constant champion of students and for her support of their physical and mental wellbeing. I am incredibly passionate about my career and I feel it’s essential our students receive the best possible support.
