Managing School Devices at Home - North Allegheny School District

Devices provided to North Allegheny School District students are intended to be
used for educational purposes only
. It is recommended that families restrict access to district provided devices outside of the school day unless they are being utilized as an instructional tool as part of the students  North Allegheny education. The following tools are  available to parents to ensure their students remain on task while completing educational activities while at home using their district provided device.
Securly (iPads and Laptops)
Allows parents to restrict specific websites and website categories on their child's device outside of the school day.
Allows parents to create schedules to turn off Internet access  on their child's  school device outside of the school day
JAMF Parent (iPads)
Works similar to Apple screen time restrictions on district owned devices.
Allows parents to create iPad device rules to control apps and settings that are available on their child's iPads  outside of the school day.
Allows parents to reset their child's passcode.
