It accommodates up to 750 guests for plated events, with additional capacity for cocktail receptions. It's a blank canvas ready to transform your vision into your dream event!

Frank E. Murphy '54 Convocation Center
Our brand-new, state-of-the art, Convocation Center seats over 2200 guests in stadium seating in a full, 360-degree venue. Three digital screens, a jumbo overhead scoreboard and A/V event support gives full access for any event. A single, full-size basketball/volleyball court or two courts side by side, this space is perfect for those who want to take it to the next level.
This space is great for conferences, all day events, retreats, graduations, corporate events and so much more!
Up to 1200 spectators with all stands utilized.
Tables only set-up: Maximum 700 - 1000 people

Walk through the tree lined sidewalk to our stunning outdoor patio space with whimsical landscaping to showcase your special day. Our campus is a photographer’s dream with our various locations to capture the beauty of your day including our newly renovated Grotto.

Ellie and Sam
The Walter Commons at St. Charles was the perfect venue for our wedding. The stairs provided a perfect focal point for our wedding party to walk down from the upper level, and was a great backdrop for guests to take pictures. The space was very tastefully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel even more intimate.
In addition, St. Charles was very accommodating with requests to get in and out of the space, unique requests to ensure guests knew where to enter, and the staff members helped clean the morning of the wedding.

I cannot express how thankful Suzanne and I are for our relationship with you all at the school. Literally, everything felt like family: you, the students helping, the hospitality of Berwick, literally everything. The students were truly amazing!! Suzanne and I are both very grateful for everything and again appreciate everything! Thank you so much, as it was the most amazing way to end our season.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at St. Charles in October 2023, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to have it! The team at St. Charles is very friendly, helpful, and willing to work with you and your wedding vendors. They let us set up the night before (since the space didn't have any other events) and that was super helpful. Berwick catered everything and they have a great relationship with St. Charles and cooked there on-site. The space is huge and comfortably fit our 400 people while still leaving room for a great dance floor. The room is beautiful and fit the traditional, elegant atmosphere that we wanted. Also, the surrounding campus has a wonderful courtyard and beautiful gardens which made for perfect pictures! Thank you Melissa and everyone else at St. Charles! Our day was perfect!
